Indore, Sep 3 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh High Court Judge, 
Justice Piyush Mathur has resigned 
from his post citing personal reasons.
Mathur sent his resignation to President Pratibha Patil yesterday.
"I have resigned from the judgeship purely due to personal reasons and 
have sent my papers to the President.
There is no other reason behind it," he told PTI.
Mathur took oath as the High Court judge on October 14, 2009, 
after which he was posted at the Gwalior bench of 
the Madhya Pradesh High Court here.
Prior to his appointment as the High Court judge, 
he had practised as a successful lawyer 
in the Indore bench for nearly 25 years.
